More classic strips this weekend, starting out with a combined two-strip colorized variation. This introduces Mongol, a dragon and aspiring fast-food mogul. You’ll notice that the name of this kiosk is Sodo Gomo, which also appeared on the singed sign last weekend. He is either benefiting  from some free advertising, or he saw the same sign and decided to run with it. He is also benefiting from an ample supply of brimstone that seems to be lying around.

As a side note, Mongol’s last line was written to sound like “Dōmo arigatō, Mr. Roboto”, a nod to the popular 80’s song by Styx. Incidentally, robata or robatayaki is a Japanese style of food preparation and means “fireside-cooking”.

No other plans for Mongol at the moment, but if you like him, let us know. Maybe he will show up again…
