You didn’t think I was going to do it, did you? Well I proved you wrong. I DID put all twelve sons in one panel. Count ’em.
Maybe I’m glossing over too much, but in between repetitious genealogies and Joseph saving Egypt, Jacob/Israel goes on a blessing binge in Genesis chapters 47-49. He blesses his sons, his grandsons (namely Joseph’s boys), and even Pharaoh. Note the continuing trend in these verses where the patriarch ignores birth order and gives preference to a younger son (Judah over Reuben, Ephraim over Manasseh).
One more strip to go! See you next week…
No chaos in this sos 🙂
Sos is “family” in Greek 🙂
Mark 15:19 NIV
You did get all twelve in and the borders aren’t even bulging! Granted, many of the brothers are missing arms and legs but who needs ’em, its not like they have any where else to go anyway.
Equally impressive is that you found a word to summarize this strip poetically; sweet! Well done!
