So now I’m back-tracking to Genesis 9 when Noah unloads the ark and promptly plants a vineyard, as such was his trade of choice before the flood. What we also have here is a take on the classic “Little Red Hen” fable (the one where nobody wants to help her make the cornbread, but they all want to help eat it), mixed with some wonderful ironic foreshadowing, thus making this one of my favorite new strips. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did drawing it.




As I recall, the last page of the “Little Red Hen” was where she got to eat the entire fruits of her efforts herself. I hope Noah doesn’t try to drink all…oh…he did. I guess Moth can take those barrels back.
