That didn’t last very long. When the Egyptian Pharoh took Abram’s wife, Sarai, into his palace, on the pretense that the two foreigners were siblings, God struck the royal family with some serious diseases. That didn’t sit very well with his relatives, and when Pharoh figured out the ruse, he immediately evicted the outsiders. But not before Abram had acquired a few nice housewarming gifts.

I would have at least given back the donkeys, but that’s just me.
